Crianza 2009

The interpretation of Pago

A wine that is the truest reflection of its origin.

  • Varieties: tinto fino (96%) and cabernet sauvignon (4%).
  • Alcoholic by volume: 15%.
  • Soils: limestone texture with red clays and white loams. Low granulometry and high water retention.
  • Altitude: around 850 meters.
  • Harvest: manual, in boees 15 kg.

Elaboration: 

  • Ageing: 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
  • Clarified with natural egg whites.
  • Bottled: March 2011.

Sensoty tasting: 

  • Color: Purple red with highlights of the same color. High robe.
  • Aromas: Overripe wild berries balanced with sweet oak notes.
  • Palate: Unctuous, round, opulent and persistent.
