Justification Report for Aid Digital Transformation Project for Carraovejas, S.L.U.
Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
1. Objective
Pago de Carraovejas, S.L.U. is a leading winery in the Spanish wine industry, renowned for its commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovation. In line with its strategy of continuous improvement and adaptation to new challenges in the sector, the company has launched an ambitious digital transformation project aimed at modernizing its operational and technological management.
This project has consisted of the implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP solution, complemented by the UVATEC vertical sector solution. This solution has been specifically designed for the comprehensive management of wineries, allowing all key processes of Pago de Carraovejas’ wine-making activity to be covered in a centralized and automated manner.
The main objective of the initiative was to replace the previous system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) with a modern, scalable platform aligned with current business management standards. The new solution allows for the integration of critical areas such as grape reception, traceability, production, cost control, regulatory compliance, barrel management, harvesting, packaging, labeling, and logistics, among others.
Thanks to this implementation, Pago de Carraovejas has managed to consolidate a robust technological base that facilitates real-time decision-making, improves operational efficiency, and ensures compliance with the sector’s regulatory requirements. The purpose of this report is to justify, from a technical and economic standpoint, the scope, actions taken, and benefits obtained from the project, within the framework of the aid requested for business digitization.
2. Overview
The digital transformation project for Pago de Carraovejas, S.L.U. consisted of implementing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP solution, complemented by the UVATEC vertical sector solution developed by Tecon Soluciones Informáticas. This solution was specifically designed for the comprehensive management of wineries, allowing for the centralized and automated coverage of all the group’s key processes.
