Global solution to improve wine production in the face of climate change based on robotics, IT technology, biotech and vineyard management strategies

National Consortium Project | GLOBALVITI | 2016 – 2020

GLOBALVITI is an industrial research and experimental development consortium project that aims to position the Spanish wine sector as a world leader in the search for solutions and the application of innovative techniques with regard to wood diseases, integrated vineyard management and winemaking processes within the context of climate change. This proposal includes the application of IoT (Internet of the things), robotics and Big Data technologies that will facilitate the digital transition of Spanish wine cellars and technological progress within the sector.
