our WINES

the result of the effort

Cuesta de las Liebres 1999

Only in single vintages

Intensity and structure received from our land but with the delicacy of care and affection. The identity of our territory is sensed from the prism of balance.

  • Varieties: Tinto Fino (85%), Cabernet Sauvignon (13%) and Merlot (2%).
  • Alcohol by volume: 15%.
  • Soils: Tertiary geology of limestone marl with outcrops of calcareous salts of a very characteristic whitish tone.
  • Altitude: 850 to 900 meters. Elevation difference of up to 35%.
  • Harvest: manual, in boxes 15 kg.

Elaboration:

  • Ageing: 24 months in French oak barrels.
  • Clarified with natural egg whites.
  • Bottled: April 2002.

Sensory tasting:

  • Color: Intense cherry red, solidly opaque yet with violet glints that will evolve as it ages in the bottle.
  • Aromas: Ripe fruit well combined with intense toasted and spicy notes and a predominance of wild berries with light hints of leather.
  • Palate: The attack is very warm, becoming smooth, glyceric and very unctuous. The aftertaste leaves the mouth saturated with the sensations that characterize remarkable wines.
“Our most precise and pure vineyard”.
