Cuesta de las Liebres 2004

Only in single vintages

Intensity and structure received from our land but with the delicacy of care and affection. The identity of our territory is sensed from the prism of balance.

  • Varieties: Tinto Fino (85%) and Merlot (15%).
  • Alcohol by volume: 15%.
  • Soils: Tertiary geology of limestone marl with outcrops of calcareous salts of a very characteristic whitish tone.
  • Altitude: 850 to 900 meters. Elevation difference of up to 35%.
  • Harvest: manual, in boxes 15 kg.

  • Ageing: 24 months in new French oak barrels.
  • Clarified with natural egg whites.
  • Bottled: April 2007.

Sensory tasting:

  • Color: Cherry red intense. Very high robe.
  • Aromas: Very ripe fruit with occasional raisining notes. Hazelnuts and spice nuances.
  • Palate: Glyceric, round, strong aftertaste. Sweet tannins.
“Cuesta de las Liebres 2004 defines the virtues of this steep slope and the extreme viticulture we develop here. Our most precise and pure vineyard”.
