Reserva 2007

A tribute to the Carraovejas Valley

Reserva is a sincere tribute to the Carraovejas Valley and an elaboration that seeks to extol its origin in an outstanding way.

  • Varieties: tinto fino (97%) and merlot (3%).
  • Alcohol by volume: 15%
  • Soils: limestone texture with red clays and white loams. Low granulometry and high water retention.
  • Altitude: around 850 meters.
  • Harvest: manual, in boxes 15 kg

Elaboration: 

  • Aging: 12 months in American and French oak barrels.
  • Clarified with natural egg white.
  • Bottled in April 2009.

Sensory tasting: 

  • Color: cherry red with purple hues.
  • Aromas: intense and persistent nose; black fruits, cocoa, balsamic.
  • Palate: fleshy and smooth at the same time. Long, sweet, balanced.
