Reserva 2003

A tribute to the Carraovejas Valley

Reserva is a sincere tribute to the Carraovejas Valley and an elaboration that seeks to extol its origin in an outstanding way.

  • Varieties: tinto fino (90%) and cabernet sauvignon (10%).
  • Alcohol by volume: 14%
  • Soils: limestone texture with red clays and white loams. Low granulometry and high water retention.
  • Altitude: around 850 meters.
  • Harvest: manual, in boxes 15 kg.

Elaboration: 

  • Aging: 12 months in new French oak barrels.
  • Clarified with natural egg white.
  • Bottled in April 2005.

Sensory tasting: 

  • Color: very high layer, cherry red with purple iridescence.
  • Aromas: balsamic, very ripe fruit, well integrated with toasted wood.
  • Palate: tasty, elegant, sweet tannins. Powerful and long.
