Reserva 1998

A tribute to the carraovejas valley

Reserva is a sincere tribute to the Carraovejas Valley and an elaboration that seeks to extol its origin in an outstanding way.

  • Varieties: tinto fino (75%) and cabernet sauvignon (25%).
  • Alcohol by volume: 14%
  • Soils: Limestone texture with red clays and white loams. Low granulometry and high water retention.
  • Altitude: around 850 meters.
  • Harvest: manual, in boxes 15 kg

Elaboration: 

  • Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels.
  • Clarified with natural egg white.
  • Bottled in July 2000.

Sensory tasting: 

  • Color: very high robe, intense cherry red color and some youthfulness in its violet tones.
  • Aromas: intense and very expressive aromas with wild fruits, jam, cassis and a slight touch of leather.
  • Palate: fleshy, powerful and friendly, very long in the aftertaste, confirming the sensations received on the nose.
