Reserva 1999

A tribute to the carravoejeas valley

Reserva is a sincere tribute to the Carraovejas Valley and an elaboration that seeks to extol its origin in an outstanding way.

  • Varieties: tinto fino (75%) and cabernet sauvignon (25%).
  • Alcohol by volume: 14%
  • Soils: limestone texture with red clays and white loams. Low granulometry and high water retention.
  • Altitude: around 850 meters.
  • Harvest: manual, in boxes 15 kg

Elaboration: 

  • Aging: 12 months in American and French oak barrels.
  • Clarified with natural egg white.
  • Bottled in July 2001.

Sensory tasting: 

  • Color: high layer and good cherry red color with some violet reflections that disappear with bottle aging.
  • Aromas: fruit and vanilla very combined, spices, nuts and smoked.
  • Palate: vigorous and velvety on the palate, with sweet and ripe tannins to form a tasty, warm and long finish.
